Brunswick Real Estate is a market leading investor and lender in the Nordics, investing across the entire capital structure. Investments includes a wide range of private equity structures, from separate investment mandates in commercial real estate together with large institutions and international managers to residential development. Debt includes credit financing funds focused on secured financing of commercial real estate in the Nordic region. Ventures offers opportunistic investment ideas within real estate, ranging from seed capital to traditional property investments. The team includes approximately 50 employees in Stockholm, Helsinki and London.

The role

As an accountant at Brunswick Real Estate your responsibilities will include day-to-day bookkeeping, such as accounts payable and receivable, monthly and quarterly closing statements, reconciliations, financial statements, annual reporting and tax declarations. You should be independent within the K2-regulations and be able to assist when it comes to K3-regulations. In this role, you will be part of a team of 5-6 people and work close to a senior colleague. You are a team player but at the same time used to work independently.

Profile of the suitable candidate

We are looking for a proactive and initiative person who wants to work in a changing and challenging environment. To thrive in the role you are well structured, meticulous and always deliver high quality work. Further, you are prestigeless, responsible and can handle periods of heavy workload. The person we are looking for has a genuine interest for accounting and wants to develop within the field. It is important to be creative and able to question current processes for which you find new, innovative solutions.

We believe you are/have:

  • Relevant education within business/accounting
  • 1-3 years of work experience within accounting
  • Great Swedish and English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Experience of working with Excel
  • Experience of working with 3L, Palette or Cognos as well as currency accounting is an advantage
