Fastighets AB Regio

AP3 is the principal owner of Fastighets AB Regio, whose vision is to be the leading landlord for commercial real estate in growing regional cities. Regio has a property portfolio of 9.5 billion and is located in 17 municipalities. Within Regio, they work with management according to the LAMP model (Local asset management partners). Where local partners are represented in the regional cities.

The role – Business Controller, Stockholm

Are you a driven and analytical person with a genuine interest in real estate and in developing your work as a Business Controller, with the ability to see the relationship between business activities and financial outcomes? Are you motivated by working in an Investment and Asset Manager environment that is constantly changing with the aim of digitizing and streamlining their processes with a constant sustainability focus? Then this role at Brunswick Real Estate is for you!

We are looking for a Business Controller for Regio's real estate portfolios within the Brunswick Real Estate mandate. The service initially reports to the Investment Manager / CEO for Regio, and the service is part of a larger team of employees, of which you are one of two Business Controllers working side by side.

The function is responsible for ensuring that management and investors receive financial and other information on an ongoing basis in order to monitor, assess and influence the business. The group works continuously to improve and develop analysis and follow-up within your area of responsibility. You work closely with the company's transaction, financing and investment and asset management managers and the service has frequent contact with many parts of the Group's operations to create a general picture and an understanding of future investments.

Key responsibilities and tasks

  • Independently analyze portfolio holdings and develop important key figures for the business
  • Support investment and asset management ahead of upcoming investment and management decisions. And follow up on ongoing investment projects
  • Manage the budget and forecasting process
  • Independently manage and support quarterly reports in business controlling
  • Continuous monitoring of the business and its profitability and supporting it with ad hoc financial analyzes
  • Participate in the development of the Group's financial processes and routines from a controller perspective
  • Manage and develop analysis models and forecasting models in MS Excel and BI tools
  • Be a proactive decision support to management
  • Implementation of new real estate portfolios and participation in the dd process in sales
  • Contribute to spreading economic understanding in the business

Profile of the suitable candidate

  • Master’s degree in real estate, Finance, Business Administration, or similar
  • Real Estate experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and excellent financial modelling capabilities
  • Smart and analytical, striving for excellence and outperformance
  • Team spirit, strong social competence, outspoken, straightforward and friendly
  • Organized with strong coordinating skills and an excellent ability to multitask
  • Commercial mind-set, strategic and visionary with the ability to assess opportunities in a thorough and time efficient manner
  • Professional attitude, strong work ethics and high energy level
  • Excellent English and Swedish communication skills, both written and spoken
